About Abigail Paulson

Music has always been part of my life. I grew up in a musically focused family where singing, instruments, and creativity were part of our everyday rhythm. Those early experiences sparked my lifelong love for music and inspired me to pursue it professionally. From singing in church choir and performing in talent shows to taking the stage in musicals, I was always drawn to the joy of performing and the power of connecting with people through song.

That passion led me to earn my bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre from Point Park University, where I had the opportunity to perform alongside artists such as Jeff Goldblum, Shirley Jones, and Frankie Valli. Those experiences strengthened my artistry and taught me to adapt across styles — from bold and edgy, to soft and personal — always serving the emotion of the song.

Today, I’m the lead vocalist of two Erie, PA–based cover bands. We. The Duo brings a fresh, acoustic pop sound to weddings, wineries, and intimate venues, while my large events band, AAIV, delivers high-energy rock, pop, and country performances for weddings, private events, large celebrations, and music festivals.

In addition to performing live, I’m a recording artist and studio vocalist. I released my own original pop-rock-folk music in 2021 and frequently record at Music Garden Studios, owned by Al Torrence, who currently tours with Charles Wesley Godwin. Collaborating and recording there has given me the opportunity to lend my voice to artists across genres — including country, indie, and rock — and continue to grow as both a performer and creative partner.

Whether I’m performing for a packed festival crowd, leading a couple’s first dance, or recording harmonies behind another artist, my goal is always the same: to connect, inspire, and bring music to life with authenticity and heart.
